How To Add Services

  • Click ‘Services’.
  • Click ‘Add’ from the top right hand corner.
  • Details – Basic Service information, including service name, price, duration and more. Anything typed in the ‘Description’ field will be shown to a customer during the online booking process.
  • Pricing Levels –  You can set pricing for the service based on the employee role/category (these are set in Settings > Employees). For example, a Senior Stylist may charge more for a service.
  • Employee Exceptions – This option allows you to set a price and/or duration for a specific service provider (A Trainee for example may need longer to complete a service and also have a cheaper price due to their role).

**USE EITHER ‘PRICING LEVELS’ OR ‘EMPLOYEE EXCEPTIONS’ – DO NOT USE BOTH**

**TRYING TO USE BOTH CAN CAUSE SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS**

  • Linked Products – This allows you to assign a product to that service. There are two options available when you do this.
  1. Retail – This means that when a customer has a specific service, it will add this product as a recommended item whilst checking out the appointment. This product can always be removed during the checkout process should the customer not wish to purchase it.
  2. Backbar – This means that the attached product/s is used every time the service is performed and needs removing from your stock count. These should not be removed from the appointment as they are a required part of performing that specific service (e.g. a tube of colour for a colour service).
  • Tanning – This section allows you to either add or subtract tanning minutes when the service is used. Click here for more information on setting up tanning.
  • Variable Deposits – Here, you can set up a specific deposit value for this service that is different to the overall assigned deposit value. Click here for more information.
  • When you have added all the information you need, click ‘Save’.

**USE EITHER ‘PRICING LEVELS’ OR ‘EMPLOYEE EXCEPTIONS’ ONLY**

**TRYING TO USE BOTH CAN CAUSE SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS**
