Setting Up Tanning Courses & Sessions

This is a guide for creating a course of tanning where a customer purchases a set amount of minutes as part of a course that can be redeemed at various times.

To create a one off/PAYG purchase of tanning minutes, just can simply create a standard service.

CREATING THE TANNING COURSE

• Go to Services
• Click ‘Add’ and give your tanning course a name. In this example, we have used ’30 Minute Tanning Course’.
• Make sure to set the ‘Duration’ field to 0. Set the Price for the whole value of the course.

• Click ‘Tanning’.
• Select ‘Add to the clients minutes’ from the drop down menu and under ‘Increase by’ select the value that will be added to their account (in this example 30).
• Click ‘Save’.

CREATING THE TANNING SESSION

• Go to Services.
• Click ‘Add’ and give this service/session a name. In the example below, we have used ‘6 Minute Course Session’.
• Set the duration to factor in for the time being tanned, but also customer prep (for example allowing time for getting undressed/redressed etc). For our 6 minute session, we have set the duration to 10 minutes to allow for this.
• Set ‘Price’ as £0 as the customer has already paid for this service when they purchased the initial course.

• Click ‘Tanning’
• Select ‘Subtract from the clients minutes’ from the drop down menu
• Set the value to the amount that will be subtracted from their overall minutes (in this example, 6 minutes).

• Click ‘Save’.

You can now sell a course to a customer to add minutes on to their account and sell a session to redeem them.
