Taking Instore Deposits

Deposits are the best way to cut down on no shows and make sure your business is protected against them. You can now take deposits for any upcoming appointments booked within the business.

Please note – You do not need to have online processing to use instore deposits.

TURNING ON INSTORE DEPOSITS

  • Go to ‘Settings’.
  • Click ‘Payment Processing’.
  • Turn on the slider to ‘Enable In-Store Deposits’.

TAKING AN IN-STORE DEPOSIT

  • Once the feature has been turned on, when you save an appointment, you will see a prompt asking if you want to take a deposit for the appointment. You can skip if you do not want to take one, or simply click ‘Yes’ in order to take a deposit.
  • You will now be presented with the checkout screen. Here you can enter any value that you wish to take for a deposit for this appointment. Just simply type the value into the price field and then take payment as normal.
  • Now, when you view the appointment on the diary, you will see that the deposit is attached to this appointment.
